All taxpayers will see a steep tax hike in 2011 unless Congress acts soon. * Tax Cuts That Create Jobs: The 2001 and 2003 tax cuts that help small businesses create jobs include lower top marginal income tax rates and lower tax rates on capital gains and dividends. Each of these growth-promoting policies will expire. * Small Businesses Hit Hard: Small businesses that employ the most workers would be particularly hard-hit if the top income tax rates go up. * Now Is Not the Time: There is never a good time to raise taxes, because higher taxes always slow job creation. But raising taxes now, as the economic recovery remains weak and job creation is non-existent, would be an economic disaster.

Yesterday I heard it was announced that it was Election day, and when that was said, this person next to me turned to me and said "It's election day? What are we voting about?" SERIOUSLY!!!????? I hate it when people have their heads in the sand, when they are like a clueless idiot, who have no idea what is going on. People don't realize that the Goverment works for the people, and is by the people. It seems like now everyone is more worryed about the latest movie, or their favorite tv show. I to love many tv shows, but I still stay upto date on what is happening in the world around me. Why is it that today people don't want to know the news, but when their lives are affected by the laws the goverment passes, they complain about it. Even worse our own congress votes on bills they don't even know about, and even people vote in elections on issues they have no idea about. I swear we live in a time where we have no problem with giving up our rights, just so we can watch our entertainment, and enjoy our busy lives. WHEN WILL PEOPLE WAKE UP!!??!?!? I realize many have, but so many are still asleep, still think everything is fine even though the ship is about to hit the ice berg! Please will someone wake me up from the nightmere when its all over?!!!

  The unexpected

  There have been several unexpected things that have happened in my jobof recent. For starters, I have moved from my old office, to dealingwith something totally different from what I am use to. I am learningmore about my rate in the Navy, but from a different angle then what Iam use to. There a lot of new people that I am getting to know. I enjoythe challenge, of my new job, what I use to be doing, was starting toget old, and repetitive so its nice to learn new things. Well this isall I am writing for now!
